ACCOMMODATION (sleeps 4 plus baby)
Ground Floor
The entrance lobby leads to a well-appointed, beamed kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric hob, oven, microwave and washer/drier. A table and 4 chairs provides comfortable breakfast seating.
The open-plan living and dining area features a beamed ceiling and large candle-filled inglenook fireplace (no open fires) with seating and dining areas for 4 people. Entertainment includes TV and video player with small video library, CD player and small CD library, books, games and local travel information.
First Floor
A stone and wrought iron staircase leads to the upstairs landing. The master double bedroom with vaulted ceiling has a large double, wrought iron bed and overlooks the meadow. Plenty of storage space is provided by an antique wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The twin-bedded room with vaulted ceiling has 2 single, wrought iron beds with an antique chest of drawers and chairs. This pretty bedroom overlooks the River Thames which flows just below the window and has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
The stone-tiled bathroom contains a bath with shower over, washbasin and WC, with lovely views across the River Thames and neighbouring countryside.
The pretty riverside garden comprises a lawned area edged with a herbaceous, cottage garden and a separate gravel area with patio seating for 4 on the water's edge. A BBQ and sun umbrella are provided. Adjacent to the garden is a large meadow ideal for children to play and run around in.
A welcome hamper of local goodies including our own free-range eggs is provided on your arrival.

WALKERS WELCOME
We are ideally located for a great number of interesting and varied walks throughout the Cotswolds. The
Thames Path is just the other side of the River Thames adjacent to Isis Cottage. It would make an ideal base for exploring the local area or as a stop-over if you're planning to walk all the way
to or from London!
The famous Cotswold Way is about 20 minutes drive away and there are wonderful walks straight from the front door to several local pubs all serving excellent food (see below). Miles of footpaths crisscross the 140 lakes that make up the Cotswold Water Park nearby, with numerous lakes designated as nature reserves ideal for bird watching as many have dedicated bird hides.
SHOPS and LOCAL AMENITIES
Cirencester: 5 miles (10 min drive),
open air market in Market Square on Mondays and Fridays; Saturday
farmer's market twice a month; several supermarkets, Corinium Museum,
restaurants, cafes, banks and shopping centre.
Local pubs: The Bakers Arms (open all day) - 10 minute walk
across fields to Somerford Keynes village.
The Wild Duck at Ewen - 30 minute walk from front door along Thames Path. Both do excellent food

. There are several more good local pubs within a few minutes' drive.
Train: Kemble train station: 2 miles (London, Paddington to Kemble – 75 min.)
