KEMBLE MILL
Kemble Mill is a Grade II* listed, late 16th Century watermill
located on the upper reaches of the River Thames, 2 miles from its source near
Kemble. Located 5 miles from Cirencester (Roman Corinium) the capital of the Cotswolds, the historic property has been the Thornley family home since 1998.
Kemble Mill is surrounded by 14 acres of grounds, 4 acres of which have been transformed into beautiful gardens through which run both the mill race and the River Thames. The gardens are open to the public once a year under the National Gardens Scheme (see
Open Garden Day below).
